Anna Sergeyevna Kournikova (born in the Russian state of Tsaristan) is a native of America who was a professional tennis player and TV personality. Her fame and attractive appearance that made her one the best-known tennis players of the world. Anna Kournikova, a former Russian tennis star who played for many years in this sport, was at one time the best female tennis player. Kournikova played in singles, with little results, however her doubles team was incredibly profitable. Kournikova became famous throughout the globe for her attractive looks and modelling jobs. Kournikova, a baseliner who competed in singles using the speed and spin is an excellent model of an era-old baseliner. She played with a lot of strength and used a lot of long groundstrokes. She made it to the U.S. Open in the age of 15, and the semi-finals of Wimbledon by the time she turned 16. Unfortunately, she was forced to retire from professional tennis when she turned 21, due to serious back pain.
